A Conference That Convinced Users to Adopt a New
Product Strategy
Progress Software
Corporation was faced with convincing their users
to adopt a new platform strategy and to solidify the user’s
commitment through technical training. Their goal was to complete
both tasks at the biannual Progress Software Worldwide User
Conference.
Results:
Successfully managed the activities, efforts, training and
organization of dozens of internal and external groups and
speakers, redesigned the conference evaluation form, and brought
in specialized resources. Racicot & Associates also reviewed
and coordinated the technical tracks and presenters.
Success:
This Worldwide User Conference was rated as the most successful
and best attended conference in the company's history. In
addition to contracted responsibilities, Racicot & Associates
designed and instituted session evaluation forms, coordinated
videotape creation ensured consistency of messaging and directed
the first (non-paper) production of the Worldwide Conference
Proceedings on CD-ROM. Speaker evaluations and technical sessions
were rated significantly higher than any previous conference.
Domino.Jet - An Executive Event That Leveraged Millions
in Revenue
